FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Lackadaisical and a bit slouchy, everything about the way he talks and moves screams of his low birth and the fact that he somehow managed to fall from even that exceedingly modest precipice over the course of his life. His accent remains stubbornly Fereldan even though he has spent more of his life in the Free Marches now than he did down south. He seems to be perpetually amused and cheerfully cutthroat, unwisely casual about the possibility (or, more accurately, the likelihood) of being stabbed in the back, you know, whenever. He doesn't take anything seriously and aggressively swerves investing emotionally in any cause other than his own survival (and coinpurse.) Absolutely nothing about him seems trustworthy, but his sheer shamelessness about it almost rounds the bend into making him charming.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: A smattering of scars including one fairly prominent one across his right cheek. Also a pesky sliver of green magic in one hand.
